Activity:
• Airport transfer and check-in at a 4-star hotel. Evening briefing with your Nomadra guide and driver to review the trip details

• Welcome dinner to try traditional Mongolian dishes (e.g., Buuz and Khuushuur)

• Attend the spectacular Opening Ceremony at the National Stadium. Witness the "Nine White Banners" ceremony, the parade of soldiers, monks, and athletes
• In the afternoon, visit the Archery Stadium to watch sharpshooters and the Ankle Bone Shooting competition

• Watch the Wrestling matches. Unlike anywhere else, there is no weight class, and wrestlers wear unique open-fronted vests (Zodog) and boots (Shuudag)

• Depart Ulaanbaatar and drive west

• Hike up to Tovkhon Monastery, a meditation retreat perched on a cliff top and a spiritual center of Mongolian Buddhism. Descend and drive deep into the Orkhon Valley

• Visit local herder families to experience traditional nomadic hospitality (milk tea, dairy products)
• Learn how local communities coexist with snow leopards and conservation efforts

• Arrive at the stunning freshwater lake. Explore the volcanic formations and black beaches on the shore

• Short drives to trailheads

• Hike to the top of the Khorgo Volcano crater (extinct). Look down into the deep crater and see the "Basalt Rock" formations (like the "Ice Man")

• Chuluut Gorge to Ugii Lake
Activity:
• Visit the deep, rocky canyon of the Chuluut River. This area is rich in wildlife and wild berries. Stop at a nomad family to experience their hospitality before driving to Ugii Lake

• Drive back through the steppe. Arrive in UB in the late afternoon. Farewell dinner
