  • Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

    Activity:
    • Arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport. Short orientation tour of Gandan Monastery (Buddhist heart of the city) and Sukhbaatar Square
    • Gear check and briefing with Nomadra trekking guide

    Accommodation: • Hotel in Ulaanbaatar 4-star, Dinner (D)

  • Ulaanbaatar → Kharkhorin - 360 km (Paved road, 5-6 hours)

    Activity:
    • Drive west through the steppe. Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia, built from the ruins of Karakorum
    Explore the ruins of the ancient city

    Accommodation: • Tourist Ger Camp (Kharkhorin), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

  • Kharkhorin → Orkhon Waterfall - 70 km (Off-road/Mountain pass, 2-3 hours)

    Activity:
    • Drive into the deep Orkhon Valley. Hike to the magnificent Ulaan Tsutgalan (Red Flow) waterfall
    • Enjoy a picnic lunch by the river and hike around the volcanic rock formations
    • Hike: ~5 km (Easy)

    Accommodation: • Tourist Ger Camp (Orkhon Valley), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

  • Orkhon Waterfall - 100 km (Rugged mountain tracks, 4-5 hours)

    Activity:
    • A challenging drive up the mountain passes to reach the plateau overlooking the Great White Lake region
    • Arrive at Uyanga Soum and meet the support team (Horse herders). Orientation hike for the trek

    Accommodation: • Tourist Ger Camp (Uyanga Base), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

  • Start 8-Lakes Trek Trekking: - 12 km (Moderate)

    Activity:
    • Begin the trek. Hike through lush meadows and volcanic stone fields to reach Lake Shireet (the highest and largest lake)
    • Enjoy lunch with panoramic views. Continue towards the second lake, Khaliut
    Highlight:
    • The contrast of the blue water against the green alpine tundra

    Accommodation: • Wild Tented Camp (2-person tents), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

  • Lakes 3 & 4 The Forest Pass - 11 km (Moderate/Hilly)

    Activity:
    • Hike towards Lake Bugat and Lake Khaya. The trail passes through larch forest patches and small streams. The terrain becomes more rugged and scenic
    Highlight:
    • Total immersion in nature; silence and wildlife spotting (marmots, eagles)

    Accommodation: • Wild Tented Camp (Lakeside), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

  • Lakes 5 & 6 Trekking: - 10 km (Easy/Flat)

    Activity:
    • Trek to Lake Khuis and Lake Mukhar. The terrain flattens out into a beautiful valley perfect for photography
    • Visit a local herder family to see the traditional lifestyle of the high-altitude nomads

    Accommodation: • Wild Tented Camp (Lakeside), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

  • Lakes 7 & 8 – The Summit View Trekking: - 9 km (Moderate/Scenic)

    Activity:
    • Trek to the final lakes, Lake Duruu and Lake Bayan-Uul. Climb a small ridge for a final panoramic
    • view of the entire Naiman Nuur lake system before descending to the pickup point

    Accommodation: • Wild Tented Camp (Last night under the stars), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

  • Return Trek & Cultural Evening Trekking: - 12 km (Descent)

    Activities:
    • Hike back down to the Uyanga Soum base camp. Rest and shower at the ger camp
    • Enjoy a farewell cultural dinner with the trekking support team and horse herders

    Accommodation: • Tourist Ger Camp (Uyanga Base), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

  • Uyanga Soum → Hustai National Park Drive: - 380 km (Long drive, 6-7 hours)

    Activities:
    • Depart early and drive back towards Ulaanbaatar. Stop at Hustai National Park in the late afternoon
    • Enjoy a game drive to spot the wild "Takhi" (Przewalski’s) horses roaming freely in the steppe

    Accommodation: • Tourist Ger Camp (Hustai National Park), Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B/L/D)

  • Hustai National Park → Ulaanbaatar Drive: - 100 km (Paved road, 1.5 hours)

    Activities:
    • Morning free time at Hustai or a short nature walk. Drive to Ulaanbaatar after lunch. Enjoy free time for souvenir shopping or rest. Farewell dinner
